Tessa Torreano, known professionally as Black Cat Media, is a filmmaker whose work spans drama, horror, and the occasional comedy. Her storytelling is rooted in a deep appreciation for cinema’s timeless language, shaped by a desire to present narratives in ways that feel both distinctive and evocative. With a quiet nod to the elegance of classic film, her vision blends mood, emotion, and atmosphere into something uniquely her own.
Life at the Lake
Life at the Lake was Tessa’s debut as a director, producer, and art director. Originally made for a contest with 50 days to produce a film from start to finish. Life at the Lake received awards for directing, cinematography, editing, acting, production design, lighting, and music.
Diorama
Diorama was brought to life by writer/director, Nico Rivera. Tessa and Nico have collaborated on numerous projects and will continue to showcase their talents together in the future.
